Ah the ole carling cup. A punters nightmare and a betting grave for many. I gave up betting on this racket many moons ago and wont break the habit tonight. Im putting in a serious effort for the weekend to try and recoup loses as last weekend hit me harder than i would have liked. Nevertheless im staying positive as theres no point crying over spilt milk...
Tonight sees Arsenal take on Blackburn at Ewood park, but with Arsene Wenger expected to again give Arsenal's fringe players a chance to impress, there no telling what may happen. If pushed for a bet i would take this one in running and lay Arsenal as they wont like the physical approach by the Blackburn outfit. This is also Blackburns only realistic chance of silverware so they should be pumped up for it.small stakes advised. Overs looks fairly safe too, should be 3 or more before 60 minutes.
Man City host Tottenham and i think this could be a good game. if pushed i would take the mancs.
But as i said, im getting ready for the weekend and keeping my powder dry till then.
